The Warren

Follow us down the rabbit hole...

WE’RE LOOKING FOR NEW STAFF!Last year The Warren lost some of our beloved editors to graduation which means we are now a few bunnies short of a fluffle (did you know that that’s a collective noun for bunnies? Look it up!)What we need now are folks like you (super cool and interesting and smart and funny) who are passionate about writing/visual art. Specifically we are looking for:A poetry editor— someone eager to step up and share their bountiful knowledge of verse. Editorial experience/upper year status not necessary but might be a boon
A senior allrounder—someone who is maybe interested in helping out more with poetry/fiction but is confident is multiple genres. Again, editorial experience not necessary but can’t hurt!
An additional visual arts editor- someone who is well-versed in visual language. Willing to help out with graphics/aesthetic curation of our website and instagram, design posters, as well as review VA submissions.
A handful of “interns”— a couple people who are interested in being part of the Warren for the long haul! Editorial experience not necessary; we encourage first/second years so apply for this post lest another plague of graduation befall us (as it very well might)
Whatever!— do you have something to contribute? Ideas to share? Do you just really really really want to help us out! Send us an email. The more, the merrier. If you looooove admin work (writing emails, etc.) we could always use more of that skillset.
How can I apply? It’s easy: you send an email to:
[email protected]
containing the following info:
The subject line: “application” or “please hire me” or something like that.
A short, informal biography: your academic year, areas of literary or artistic interest, and what position you are applying for. If you have links to social media, publication credits, or any personal information that you wish for us to know, include that here!
A resume or CV attached to your email
A sample of your work (also an attachment). It doesn’t need to be long or beautiful, just something which you feel best reflects your skillset/creative sensibilities.
We’d prefer email attachments to be in the form of .docx or .pdf however a google document is fine. We’ll try our best to open other formats, but these are your safest bets (and also help us out a lot). Students from all faculties encouraged to apply.
The Application deadline is SEPTEMBER 20TH 2025. Don’t overthink it! Just send it in.
